PHOTOGRAPHY

Here are a few of my favorite photo's I have taken. They range from photo's I have taken at home to photo's I have taken on trips. All photo's here were shot on a Canon EOS 7D with a EFS 15-85mm lens.

This is a panorama I shot overlooking the Menai Strait. To create this panorama I took 28 images and used the photomerge feature of Adobe Photoshop to stitch them together, this created a image over 30,000 pixels wide and 6,000 tall before sizing it down to be more web friendly.

This is a panorama shot from the waterfront of the town of Menai Bridge.

This is the view of the Red Wharf Bay area of Anglesey taken from the Benllech waterfront. Panorama's on lanscapes like this work really well, however it can be tricky with moving objects such as people and waves. In this example the waves almost match up, but there is some jaggedness.

This is the same view as from Benllech, however from Moelfre a bit further up the coast. On the left is the Moelfre Lifeboat centre.

This is my cat Oscar. Outside where he likes to be guarding his territory (Our back garden).

One day this Peacock showed up on our street. We fed him once and he never left. This is one of the first photo's I took with a DSLR and what got me interested in photography.

This was a test shot, but it turned out to be quite a good one.

This is my phone while I had set it to timelapse the view at Moelfre. I really like the depth of this photo, and the detail in the wall it is on.

This squirrel in York stood there for about 20 seconds to make sure I got a good picture of him before scurrying off up the nearest tree.

This photo was taken from the waterfront at Knaresborough. In the background is the Knaresborough viaduct with people in the rentable rowing boats below.

Here is a panoramic view of the river nidd from Knaresborough castle. On the other side there is the car park for Old Mother Shipton's Cave.

This is a Bike someone left in the Petrifying well at Mother Shiptons Cave. The bike is starting to become solidified in rock.
